No they're not a waste of time... calling a BBS looking for files that all the  
boards have already deleted because they're not "0-DaYz!"  is a waste of time.  
It's nice to have things on a cd ... 680 megs.. cheaper than hd's, cheaper      
than tapes... and it will last practically longer than you will :) unlike
