I want to know what people think about the state baseball is in right now. I
now people are still bitching and whining about the strike, but those people
are the bandwagon jumpers, the ones who only watched the Jays because they
were popular and doin' well. It's the fans that go to the games now who are
the real baseball fans. They didn't care about the strike (which the players
had no choice but to do; but that's another message), why it happened or who's
fault it was. Nor did the fact that the Jays were losing, and losing horribly,
keep them from the parks. The game, and the Jays, are at an all time low, and
it's the fans now who go to the games that are the real fans of baseball. If
you're not watching the game now, please do everyone (except the owners, who
are the real people at fault in the labour disputes of the game) a favour and
don't go back to watching ever again and leave room in the stadiums for us
real fans.
As for those who are still religiously following the game, good for you.
This is the first time in recent memory that the Jays are not seriously
contending, and it is because of the recent success of the team that they are
in such turmoil now. It is also the first time that we really have had a bad
team. All teams go through this slump period (eg. Cubs, Indians, Padres). But
fear not, they will contend soon again. They have too much money and talented
people in the organization (coaches, scouts, etc.;not players) to go into too
much of a slump. If you want more views or info about baseball, just leave me
a message and I'll get back to you.

This is to everyone who thinks that O.J. is guilty : HA, HA, HA!!
